• Step 1 : Open GPay on your mobile.
• Step 2 : Enter the phone number that is linked to your bank account and click on Next at the bottom of the screen.
• Step 3 : Select the email and the mobile number you wish to link to your bank account. Tap Next.
• Step 4 : You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and press Next.
• Step 5 : Click on create UPI pin and select Continue.
• Step 6 : Set a strong pin. This pin is required whenever you open the app. Tap on ✅.
• Step 7 : Now, tap on your profile picture at the top-right corner.
• Step 8 : Click on Add bank account.
• Step 9 : You will get a list of banks. Select the bank in which you have your account.
• Step 10 : Once the bank is selected, a pop-up appears that asks to verify your number with the bank. Click on Continue.
• Step 11 : GPay will send a verification code from your phone and it will auto-verify your number with the bank.
• Step 12 : Now, you need to verify your account with the help of an ATM card. Click on the card and then Start at the bottom of the screen.
• Step 13 : Enter the last 6 digits of your debit card, expiry date and click on ➡.
• Step 14 : You will receive an OTP. Enter it and set a strong UPI pin. This will be required whenever you make a transaction.
• Step 15 : Your account is created and linked to GPay.
